What is a shelf company?
A GmbH or AG formed in advance, entered in the commercial register and kept without activity, with its capital intact, until a buyer takes it over.
How much does a ready-made company cost?
From CHF 5,900 for a GmbH and CHF 9,900 for an AG, all-in for the standard case. The capital stays in the company.
How much does a formation cost?
From CHF 1,290 (GmbH) and CHF 1,690 (AG) all-in, notary and register included; sole proprietorship from CHF 190 plus fees.
Is it legal?
Yes for properly formed and capitalised companies. Since 2025, transfers of companies with no activity, no realisable assets and over-indebtedness are void (Art. 684a/787a CO). Our companies come with signed accounts showing the capital intact.
Can a foreigner own a Swiss company?
Yes, 100%. At least one person resident in Switzerland must be able to represent a GmbH or AG.
Can I stay anonymous?
No. GmbH members are public in the commercial register; AG shareholders are not public but beneficial owners are reported to the transparency register, and we identify every client.
Do you guarantee a bank account?
No. We prepare the KYC file and introduce you to banks; each bank decides.
Can I buy a foundation?
No. Foundations have no owners. We set up new Swiss foundations and refer Liechtenstein foundations to a licensed trust company.
How fast do you answer?
Within 2 business hours, Monday to Friday (Swiss time).
Who carries out the formations and transfers?
A qualified partner firm affiliated with a self-regulatory organisation (SRO) under the Anti-Money Laundering Act carries out formations, transfers, identification (KYC/AML) and domicile services. Notarial acts are done by independent notaries.
